Our church meets at the corner of Washington Street and Franklin Avenue in downtown Fayetteville, TN. Fayetteville is a wonderful place in Southern Middle Tennessee with definite small town charm. Nestled along the Elk River, Fayetteville is the county seat for Lincoln County, a predominantly rural area with a population of around 34,000. Our downtown square is vital and active with restaurants, antique shops, barber and beauty shops, a movie theater and the largest fabric store in the Southeast. Our people are warm, friendly and will greet you with a firm handshake and a sincere "how are you?"
That being said, it is a town where the love of Christ is desperately needed more and more. The median income level is one of the lowest in Tennessee. Many of our families are living at or below the national poverty level. Our schools are some of the finest in the state, yet many of our children are growing up without learning of the love of Christ. We have numerous churches throughout the county with at least five sharing the same block with Washington Street, yet fewer families these days seem to be making God a priority for their lives. Many of our county's residents have grown up going to church or Sunday School and have at least some background with the Bible, and yet many still do not have a saving relationship with God through Jesus.
Our mission is to be salt and light in this community we love so dearly and to spread the good news of Jesus to all those who will hear. We would love to have you visit with us on any occassion and to join us in this mission.
